Anthony started his career as a Chartered Secretary at London Electricity, during the privatisation, which led to the demerger of the then, part-owned National Grid Company.

More recently, he served as Chief of Staff at Invensys plc during its successful turnaround phase, and as Executive Vice President in charge of Group Strategic Planning, Mergers & Acquisitions, value analysis and group business development.

Prior to this, he managed multiple Invensys operating subsidiaries across the UK and the USA – the most notable being IMServ, the UK leader in smart metering and data collection.

Anthony is a former member of the London Council of the Confederation of British Industry, and was for five years a Trustee and Chairman of the Governance and Audit Committee of the £4bn Invensys Pension Scheme.
