Martin holds degrees in Geology from Bristol and Dublin Universities, a diploma in Management from the Open University, and was Visiting Professor in Petroleum Geology at UCL. He has over 35 years experience of the global upstream oil and gas business, and brings an unparalleled knowledge of the technical, economic and legal issues associated with commercially successful upstream operations.
Initially with Shell International, Dr. Keeley has gone on to work in senior technical and executive capacities in start-up private and public oil companies, raising equity funds and on the boards of small public oil companies. His focus this last decade has been on the structure and strategy of both upstream oil companies and private equity funds, to align them closer to mutual advantage. (April 2015)
